Office of the Chief Executive Officer
The CEO is the executive authority who reports directly to the Board of Directors and is responsible for the daily management of the Scientific Research Organization of Samoa (SROS). He/She provides professional and expert advice to the Chairperson on matters relating to policy, control and governance of the Scientific Research Organization of Samoa.
Examples of professional and expert advice provided are; strategic advice on all scientific research and development in line with the organization’s research mandate, budget forecast and control, financing, staff recruitment and employment policies, and strategic management policies to ensure efficient and smooth operation of the organization.
