Biography:

Dr Seuseu Tauati is a molecular phytopathologist who supports the growth of science and agriculture in Samoa. He has a sound understanding of Agricultural Science with several years of scientific research at an international level. This included scientific research in Japan (Kochi University), United Kingdom (Bristol University) and France (Bayer Research Science) with collaborative research in New Zealand (Auckland University).

Biography:
Ron Bowrey has over 40 years experience in chemical engineering and food technology with particular interests in the processing of vegetable fats and oils and the formulation and manufacture of fat-based foods. He has worked at universities in USA and Australia, and food technology companies Meadow Lea Foods Ltd and Functional Food Technologies Pty Ltd in Australia. He has authored/co-authored many publications related to the processing of vegetable fats and oils and the formulation and manufacture of fat-based foods.

Biography:
Ron Wills has 50 years experience in research in food science and technology with particular interests in postharvest technology and food analysis. He has worked at universities in Australian and New Zealand, CSIRO and the Australian Wheat Board (AWB) and has been a consultant to FAO, UNDP, IAEA and AusAid on food development projects in a wide range of countries in the Asia-Pacific region. He is currently an Emeritus Professor at the University of Newcastle, Australia and remains active in research. He has published 300 research papers and authored 10 monographs including “Postharvest” which is now in its 5th edition and has been published in English, Spanish, Chinese, Malay and Farsi (Iran). He has been associated with SROS since 2007..
